The aim of the project is to develop an innovative adsorption-based refrigeration unit that will generate cooling at a driving temperature of 55°C.
M.A.S. is directing its new product to enterprises seeking efficient cooling solutions that utilise low-temperature waste heat. The main recipients include industries such as food, pharmaceutical and chemical, as well as district heating companies and enterprises using solar energy. The innovative adsorption chiller will enable these companies to make more efficient use of waste heat, reduce operating costs and improve the energy efficiency of their production processes.
As a result of the project’s implementation, the new solutions will enable the use of waste heat at temperatures as low as 55°C, which will significantly increase the energy efficiency of industrial processes. Consequently, adsorption chillers may replace conventional compressor-based cooling systems in new application areas, delivering tangible energy and cost savings.
